About Us

Shamrock Glen is owned and operated by Lisa and Tim Turney and was established in December of 1993. We began with about 15 horses on 100 leased acres. That farm is now a sprawling subdivision on the outskirts of Versailles and we have purchased 86 acres further out of town. We also have an additional 100 adjoining acres under lease. Now home to 65 mares, foals, yearlings, and layups, there are 7 barns and numerous large fields. We keep our groups to 6-9 in each field allowing each horse their own private heaven.

We are proud to have raised Purim, our most successful upbringing for E.J. Suckley, a long time client and friend. We are now breeding mares to Purim in hopes of raising one as special as he is.

We prep sale horses for all major consignments and additionaly offer layup and rehabilitative services.
